Reduced PMS symptoms

I began with 1,000 IU and now take 2 daily. My vitamin D has been low for years, typically only improving in summer when I'm outside a lot. I usually stay indoors during peak sun hours as I feel unwell in too much sunlight and burn easily. As vitamin D supplements usually contain oil, which causes me acne, I avoid them. Recently, during a couple of months this summer, my menstrual cycle was lighter, less painful, and on track at 28 days. When it returned to 24 days and became heavy with significant PMS symptoms, I pondered what had changed. The answer was vitamin D; my cycle came on time with almost no PMS symptoms, shortening to 3-4 days. It's also aiding in warding off a cold.

Lighter menstrual cycle
I started with 1,000 IU and am now taking 2 a day due to long-term low vitamin D levels. The only improvement occurs in summer when I’m outdoors often. I prefer to stay inside during peak sun hours as too much sun makes me unwell, and I have a propensity to burn. I usually avoid vitamin D supplements as they often contain oil, which causes acne. I observed this summer that my menstrual cycle was lighter, less painful, and on point at 28 days. When it reverted to 24 days lasting 7 days and became heavy with many PMS symptoms, I considered what had changed. The vitamin D was the solution, as my cycle came punctually, with nearly no PMS symptoms, reducing to 3-4 days. It is also helping me fend off colds.
